01Welcome

Everything you need to run the TV, music and golf simulator during your session. If something won’t work, text or call 815-303-3739.

02Emergencies

Call 911 first.

Address: 923 N Main Street, Princeton, IL

  • Fire extinguisher and first aid kit: snack bar, by the back door.
  • Exits: front door. The back door in the snack bar is for emergency exit only.

03Facility Rules

Before you play

  • Everyone must sign the waiver before playing (normally done at booking; QR code in the lounge as backup).
  • Anyone 21 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over 21 for the entire visit, and plays free with them.

Guests and security

  • Only approved, paid guests in your booking may use the facility. Unapproved or unpaid guests can result in membership termination or a ban.
  • Maximum 6 people at any time unless the booking is a private event.
  • Kids 21 and under golf free with a parent, but they still count toward the group limit.
  • The facility is monitored by security cameras 24/7.
  • The door locks automatically on a timer. Remember your 4-digit door PIN from Birdie’s text and email, or keep your phone with you if you step outside during your session.
  • Don’t prop or block the door open; make sure it closes fully behind you.
  • The back door must stay locked at all times except to exit in an emergency.
  • No pets.

Safety

  • One golfer in the hitting area at a time; others stay behind the hitter.
  • Look around before every swing. Hit only from the mat into the screen.
  • Balls can bounce back off the screen; stand clear and keep spectators back.
  • Place the ball on the paint dot, never further left toward the touch screen.
  • Guests 21 and under must stay with their parent or legal guardian at all times.

Equipment

  • Use only the provided balls and tees. No metal spikes.
  • No cracked or damaged clubs or worn/slippery grips.
  • Don’t touch the ceiling projector or launch monitor; use only the labeled remote on the PC desk to control them. Don’t change PC settings.
  • Use only the on/off buttons on the projector remote. Do not touch any other buttons.
  • Report damage right away. Damage fines may apply depending on circumstances.

The space

  • No smoking or vaping. Keep food and drinks off the mat and away from electronics.
  • Ceiling fan controls are on the wall near the front door and bay windows. Dim or turn off the fan light for the best simulator picture; set the fan back to low or off when leaving.
  • The neon sign remote is labeled; only adjust it if the brightness is too high.
  • Snack room and bathroom lights are motion-activated.

Snack bar

  • Help yourself to drinks and snacks and pay for what you take. Scan the Venmo QR code at the snack bar, or put cash in the labeled cash box above the snack bar, to the left of the fridge. Monitored by camera 24/7.

Food and alcohol

  • Outside food is welcome. Alcohol only for guests 21+ who signed the waiver. Fairway 19 LLC does not provide alcohol.

04TV, Spotify & YouTube TV

  • TCL Google TV: Power on, use Home to return to apps, hold Back to exit an app. Frozen? Settings > System > Restart.
  • Spotify and YouTube TV are signed in to the Fairway 19 account. Open them from the Home screen. Please don’t sign out or connect your own accounts.

05Golf Simulator

Your session

For now, turn the projector and launch monitor on using the labeled remote on the PC desk. Your bay code works starting 15 minutes before your booked start time, so you can start using the simulator early. Turn the launch monitor off when you leave. Don’t turn off the projector; it turns off automatically after a cooldown period. Your session still ends at the booked end time, when Birdie shuts the simulator down and you have 10 minutes to clean up and leave. Want more time? Add it in Birdie if the next slot is open.

Before every shot

Place a provided ball on the paint dot, wait for “Not Ready” at the bottom of the screen to clear (nudge the ball if it doesn’t), then hit. White hats can interfere with the launch monitor.

  • Still stuck: Start > Power > Restart.
  • The PC is on the left side of the desk under the touch screen; the power button is on the bottom facing the room.

06GSPro Basics

New to GSPro? Keep this reference handy while you play. The setup below covers a 9-hole league scramble.

Starting a round

  1. On the Home Menu, choose a local match.
  2. Open Match Settings → Players. Pick each player and their tee box. For a scramble, give both players the same team color.
  3. Open Match Settings → Match to set the rules:
    • Game Type: choose Scramble.
    • Mulligans: leave off for league. Mulligans only appear in the in-game Shot Options menu if enabled here before the match starts.
    • HCP: leave off for no handicaps. This is the handicap toggle.
    • Gimme / Auto Putt: choose your auto putt option here. This also sets the size of the gimme circle.
    • Tee and Pins: set these here too.
  4. Open Match Settings → Holes and choose the 9 holes to play.
  5. Select Start Match.

Handicaps

Handicap scoring is the HCP option in Match Settings and requires more than one player. A player’s own handicap is under Settings → Players → Information → Handicap, using either a manual slider or GSPro’s automatic calculation. For league play, leave HCP off and don’t use either handicap method.

Putting

  • Auto putt: open Match Settings → Match → Gimme / Auto Putt.
  • Other putting settings: under the Game settings tab, Putting controls realism, Putting Assist limits how far off-line a putt can be aimed, and Breakline adds a line to help read the green.
  • In-game controls: open the small box with four dots in the top right. Putt Mode goes straight to the putter; Putt Grid shows or hides the grid on the green.

During a round

Open the same top-right four-dot menu → Settings. Shot Options contains rehit, mulligan (only if enabled before the match), and concede.

League settings to confirm

  • Auto Putt Fixed: the guides do not explain the difference between fixed and variable auto putt. Check the simulator’s options and confirm the exact on-screen wording before using it on a printed reminder.
  • Gimme distance: the guides do not list distance values. Use the same setting for every team, every week.
  • Settings checks: no way to lock these settings has been confirmed, so teams may be able to change them mid-round. Use a photo of the scorecard as the league check.

Confirm the league’s auto putt option, gimme distance, and tees before play.
